About the Trial Versions

The trial versions of our products will allow you to experience all the features and performance of the purchased product, with the following limitations:

• The software will run for a limited time of about 5 minutes, then you will need to restart the software

• Trial versions will expire after 14 days of use

• There will be text or graphics in the video image

• There are a limited amount of snapshots that you can take

You will not have any of the above limitations after purchasing the product.

If you need assistance installing the software, have trouble connecting to your cameras, or are experiencing any difficulty with the software, please contact our support department. Our experienced support staff can troubleshoot almost any problem, and have you viewing live video within minutes.

WebCamServer is provided at no charge with purchasing ViewCommander-Mobile from this website only. It is provided as-is, without support, and may not work with all web cameras.

WebCamServer will only work with web cameras that support the "RGB24" video format. In the WebCamServer “Video Format” or “Video Source” settings, look for an option that will allow you to choose the "RGB24" video format.  Since WebCamServer imports the “Video Format” and “Video Source” menu screens from the USB camera software drivers, and IVI cannot provide further support. Refer to your web camera manual for further support. 

In the ViewCommander-Mobile camera setup screen, choose "IVI-WebCamServer" for the camera model, then enter the IP address and port of the computer running WebCamServer. 

If connecting from outside your local network, you will need to enter your external IP address into ViewCommander-Mobile. This may also require configuring the ports on your router to forward to the computer running WebCamServer. Refer to your router instructions and/or Internet provider for more information on this.
